Urban Sustainable Development Goal open workshop at IHS.
On May 20, 2015, IHS will host a meeting to discuss the educational challenges related to the new urban Sustainable Development Goal. We intend to discuss with a number of selected participants the new approaches in capacity building for urban development.
The aim
Up to 60 participants from all over the world have joined the course on Climate Resilient Urban Development, the first e-learning course from the SUSTAIN Project. The participants were undergraduate students, college graduates, or post graduate students in the fields of urban planning, environmental science and other related disciplines.
"Learning for the Cities in Transition" is a one-day promotional seminar for students that aimed to promote European Higher Education in Sustainable Urban Development, support partnerships between and among European and Asian academic institutions and networks, present the SUSTAIN project and demonstrate its products and outputs, and provide information regarding the practical implications of studying in Europe.

The SUSTAIN project is inviting you to join the two-week e-learning course which will take place March 16-27, 2015. The course is intended for students of urban planning, environmental science and other related disciplines, who wish to deepen their understanding of climate resilient urban development.
