Local Renewables Conference 2016
26-28 October, 2016 - Freiburg and Basel
Energising the smart city and region
SUSTAIN, a three-year Erasmus Mundus Project, and the Transition Academy invite you to a free of charge e-learning course on urban sustainability transitions and transition management.
Experience and learn about how to capture complexity in urban settings and design co-creation processes for sustainable resilient futures, together with action researchers and experts on Transition Management.
During the e-learning course we will take a closer look at transition dynamics in cities: how to examine and understand on-going processes by bringing together driving forces and have a ‘hold on’ those who we conceptualise as transition frontrunners.
The 8th European Conference on Sustainable Cities & Towns will be hosted by ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, the Basque Government, Bizkaia County Council and Bilbao City Council, with the involvement of Udalsarea 21 - Basque Network of Municipalities for Sustainability, and the support of Araba County Council, Gipuzkoa County Council, Donostia/San Sebastián City Council and Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council.
