ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is an association of 1,200 local governments in 68 countries that are dedicated to sustainable development. Applications are invited for the position of Project Assistant at ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability Southeast Asia Secretariat, Incorporated. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with ICLEI, one of the leading local government associations in the world. The Secretariat is seeking a suitably qualified and motivated Project Assistant. This post aims at strengthening the capacity of the Secretariat on Climate Change and other Sustainability issues.

The Graduate School of Urban Studies (URBANgrad) at Darmstadt University of Technology has set up a new graduate program on urban and infrastructural change in East Africa. This interdisciplinary program is funded by the Hans Böckler Foundation and includes the following academic subjects: Spatial and Infrastructure Planning, Urban Development and Design, History of Technology, and Economic Geography and Global Studies.
